Cahors 2023
A moving, melodious malbec of bewitching depth and finesse: a contemporary AOC Cahors on dark fruit and spice, with soft tannins and bouyant acidity interlaced with an invisible thread, as if sewn together by elves in the light the silvery moon.
A wine born from a massal selection from Xavier Weikopf at Rocher des Violettes in the Montlouis (Loire), from vines planted in 1892. Louis and Charlotte planted cuttings in 2016 on a 0,20 hectare plot.

Ostal Levant is a sublime place situated close to Puy L’eveque, at the top of a woody hill above the river Lot - an abandoned farm, charged with history, loving restored by Louis and Charlotte Pérot. Formerly in the book business in Paris, the moved to the area in 2012 to raise their family and retrain as winemakers. Natural wine devotees, inspired by the ethics and emotions they evoke, they craft serene wines that symbolise their holistic vision of the vine and wine, a reflection of their world-view.
