Pinot Noir from a single loamy plot planted in 1988. Very fine. Very smooth. Lovely red fruit aromas: strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, red currants and baking spices, no doubt from 10 months ageing in old oak barrels. Velvet tannins and notes of fleshy ripe black cherries in the mouth followed by a very fresh and long finish.
